This incredible Roadside Attraction was built between 1932 & 1944 by Ben Hartman during the Great Depression. What began as a concrete fishpond is now a folk-art masterpiece. Using more than a quarter of a million stones he constructed structures and figures following the themes of history, religion and patriotism. We recommend a visit as there were beautiful flower gardens intermixed with stone re-creations of a cathedral with The Last Supper figures, a lighthouse, Battle of Little Bighorn, Noah’s Ark, Death Valley, Hoover Dam, the White House, Liberty Bell & many more.
