Subway Restaurants sponsored a 5K Run for several years which was affiliated with the Dayton Dragons. The race route was through the streets of Downtown Dayton. After the race, participants would enter 5/3 Field for free food, water and a kids carnival featuring face painting, inflatables and games. Subway national commercial spokesman Jared Fogle was on hand to give autographs. Rosie placed in the top three of her age group one year. Included with our 5K registration was a nice T-shirt, ticket to attend a Dayton Dragons baseball game and coupons for three items on the menu.
