We returned to this paranormal site a second time. A park ranger I spoke to said there were no new reports for some time. Hiking at the state park trail to the statue and through the thick jungle we saw a few armadillos off the trail. The Chief statue at Tomoka State Park looked as menacing as ever. A nearby fisherman caught a large flounder. I met Gort, the robot from the movie “The Day the Earth Stood Still” at a nearby shop.
