This race held at Wright Patterson Air Force Base was an out and back run down a long runway and celebrated the 50th anniversary of the fourth manned flight to the moon. I was still immune-compromised and did not risk walking the race but this race was special because it was granddaughter Elizabeth’s first 5K – pushed in the jogging stroller by Jacque. Holly & Jacque ran together and were the 5th and 6th overall women finishers. Along the course were signs of the sun and all of the planets positioned the specific distance from the sun. Afterwards we had photos taken with Star Wars cosplay characters.
