Beginning at the Aullwood Audubon Education Center, this 2.5 mile trail ascended through a pretty wooded area and past a barn with many farm animals, a creek and small duck pond. The trail was very muddy and slippery, and I thought many times that the Orca was going to fall down in the mud. Nothing short of a forklift would have gotten her out. The attraction of this trail was three large wooden trolls created by the world’s leading recycle artist Thomas Dambo from Denmark. The exhibit is called “The Troll That Hatched an Egg” and the three, twenty to thirty foot tall trolls are named Bo, Bodil and Bibbi. We posed by the biodegradable trolls which were spaced out along the winding trail. I even got my photo coming out of the butt of Bibbi (photo #4).
