APGAR BIKE TRAIL Glacier National Park, Montana

Biking Team: Dave Miller, Rosie Miller

Date: June 24, 2002

Beginning at the visitor center, we bicycled 9.5 miles on the bike trail that wove throughout the park and through Apgar Village. At the village we paused for some outstanding views looking north of Lake McDonald and mountains with snow.  The trail was mostly paved but changed to dirt in some areas. We saw deer and an elkhorn antelope. With the forest on both sides of the trail we were always alert for grizzly bears.
