HIKING WETLAND TRAIL Hisey Park Waynesville, Ohio

Hiking Team: Dave Miller, Rosie Miller

Date: February 3, 2024

This 158-acre Warren County Park had two separate long trails. We first hiked the Wetland Interpretive Loop Trail which was 1.3 miles and had 13 learning stations. The open area of the trail was flat and surrounded on both sides by milkweed and many other plants. The last part of the trail passed by bogs, fens and lots of trees and shrubs. We wanted to hike the Woodland Interpretive Trail but it was sundown so we will return someday to hike it. Just off the trail was a small planetarium, home of the Warren County Astronomy Club.
