WORLD’S LARGEST ROADRUNNER Fort Stockton, Texas

Expedition Team: Dave Miller, Rosie Miller

Date: May 7, 2024

Built in 1979, Paisano Pete held the title of world’s largest roadrunner for many years. Pete is 22 feet long and 11 feet high and is in front of the Ft. Stockton Chamber of Commerse Visitor Center.  Pete is the “Town Mascot”. Inside, I picked up several free Pete the roadrunner pins. At the visitor center I climbed aboard an old Santa Fe Railroad caboose. Nearby, I took a photo of a real roadrunner bird.
