This half mile loop trail took us from desert and rocks through thick back country cactus and prairie to the Prairie Dog Town Fork Red River which looked more like a creek to me. Justin and I went off trail exploring careful not to be surprised by a rattlesnake in the tall grasses and greenery by the river. I looked in a hole and a critter was staring back at me.
