This roadside attraction according to Rosie was a disappointing bust. This high point was about ten miles north of Richmond out in the farm country. We were expecting at least a mile hike to stretch our legs since this stop was near the end of a 300-mile drive. Not! We exited the car, walked not even a hundred yards up an incline of ten feet and there was the large rock signifying the highest point in the State of Indiana at 1,257 feet. It was very quiet, and we were surrounded by corn fields. All I could think of was the horror movie, “Children of the Corn”.
