On this nice fall day, we hiked the three-mile Adirondack Trail at Hills and Dales Metropark. We then veered off into the tight, wooded quarter mile Deep Hollow Trail. This trail circled around the wetlands and surprised us when we came upon a Halloween spider web decoration in the woods. Later, on the south end of the park we hiked for another .8 mile past the old barn camp on Inspiration Point Trail. Turning off this trail and crossing Patterson Blvd. is Rosie’s favorite place to sit and take in panoramic views of the sunset.
