Just two blocks down from the World’s Largest Bat (baseball bat that is) was another World Record setter – a Vampire Bat Sculpture over two stories tall, sleeping upside down with its red eyes staring at you. The bat is attached to the side of Caufield’s Novelty Store. The vampire bat is 24 feet tall and 16 feet wide. The bat is sort of a tip of the hat to Kentucky’s and Louisville’s commercial caves.
