This was a rare roadside attraction as there are not many ferry boats anymore. As I pulled up, the ferry boat, named “Ms. Lucky Lady”, was halfway across the Ohio River, so we decided to cross from Kentucky to Indiana on it on our way home to Ohio. The cost was only $5.99. I drove the Kia onto the ferry, got out and watched the tower section where the man drove the boat swing out and rotate from the front to the back of the ferry. A minute later off we went on a ten-minute ride across the wide river where we enjoyed great views.
