Friday morning, we once again descended 70 steps and hiked to the suspension bridge. We turned east and hiked up the rugged Trail #2 through a long box canyon. Emerging the canyon, we began a loop trail through a high canopy forest and viewed the Narrows Covered Bridge from a different side of Sugar Creek this time. We joined Trail #1 and hiked past Goose Rock (which looked like a giant goose) parallel to Sugar Creek. We hiked past Newby Gulch before climbing our favorite 70 steps and exiting the trail. We hiked a total of 2.8 miles.
