This large red glowing heart is 26 feet tall and 20 feet wide and can be seen from miles around in the desert at night. It is located on a pistachio farm. I took the photo in the daytime but included an internet photo to show how it looks at night. This roadside attraction was a special stop just for Rosie because it was Mother’s Day. That evening we celebrated at Alamogordo’s best restaurant, Les Combes with sea bass, potatoes, green beans, hot soup and wine tasting.
