This 1.5-mile historic trail was built in 1938 by the CCC. It begins at beautiful Roosevelt Lake, winds through a thick forest and the original Teddy Roosevelt Game Preserve founded in 1922. The trail ascends the ridge and circles back around with a steep descent.
