We camped at the state park campground. We brought our kayaks from home and enjoyed paddling on the large lake where we saw cranes, vultures, and turtles. After kayaking we hiked a short trail and set up one of Rosie’s birthday presents, her hammock, where she rested in style. The trail also led us to a small pond in the stream that had a fun rope swing. A unique tree on the trail was shaped like a chair seat.
