Investigation Team: Dave Miller
Date: October 2004 & August 2009
Established 1863 on C Street, this was the first business to use electric lights in 1887. Of the 100 saloons back then the Delta was the most famous for its gaming room where Silver Kings played faro with one man losing $38,000 on the flip of a card. The infamous Suicide Table is an old Faro Bank Table (see below). Three previous owners are reported have committed suicide due to heavy losses on this cursed table. People have seen an apparition dressed in black walk through a wall. I sat at a table & enjoyed a brewski & western rueben but saw nor felt anything “ghostly” while there. It was a very festive saloon so a quiet night investigation is warranted.
