Creepy, creepy creepy! This was a memorial to America’s first female presidential candidate, born in nearby Homer, as she ran at age 34 in 1872 as the candidate for the Equal Rights Party. The clock is located on the upper side of the local museum across from the side library entrance. On the hour, music begins, white wooden panels open and out rolls the wooden figure of Victoria. She looks really creepy rolling out like the scary head nun gliding down the hallway in the Blues Brothers Movie. We sat outside eating lunch and an hour later I heard the music and there she was gliding out again. The music stopped, she rolled back inside and the door panels closed.
