In this small rural town of 2,700 people just off I-70, resident Jim Bolan came up with an idea to market his city and make people stop. He created twelve world’s largest things and 20 more “big things”. Bible scripture adorn all the attractions. We walked around town in 95-degree weather, bought ice cream and viewed eight of the 12 world record attractions. The first Guinness Book of World Records recognized item is the 54-foot-tall wind chime. The chimes hang 48 feet off the ground and the longest chime is 42 feet long. The frame braces Christian symbols to remind the viewer of the importance of faith in their daily lives.
