Hiking Team: Dave Miller, Rosie Miller
Date: June 18, 2022
Overlooking the North Dakota Badlands, we hiked about one mile of the four-mile trail, calling it quits due to darkness. The trail descended into the canyon past juniper, some prairie grass, sagebrush, wildflowers, and petrified remains of ancient trees. I wish we had more sunlight to hike the entire trail as the stripped, colorful sediment formations reminded us of the Badlands National Park in South Dakota.
