HIKING ROCKY POINT TRAIL Glacier National Park, Montana

Hiking Team: Dave Miller, Rosie Miller

Date: June 24, 2022

This trail scenic trail on the west side of Lake McDonald descended about 150 feet before climbing 230 feet.  The 2.3-mile trail was mostly shaded by pine trees but after a mile opened on high bluffs for beautiful northeast views of the lake and mountains. We crossed an enchanting rushing creek with nearby trees showing evidence of beer claws scratching on them.
