Hiking Team: Dave Miller, Rosie Miller
Date: June 24, 2022
For our last hike of the day, we hiked only 2 miles of this 4.3 mile out and back trail while keeping our bear spray handy. After crossing a creek, the trail narrowed and vegetation, bushes and trees practically brushed up against us. With bear grass growing in great quantities, the park rangers were correct when they told us earlier that this trail was potentially dangerous with numerous bear sightings in recent days. We were glad when we were finished and back at the truck and then heading back to the campsite.
