Hiking Team: Dave Miller, Rosie Miller
Date: July 15, 2022
This short hike took us down to what is called a “geologist’s paradise”. Along the trail, layers of earth’s crust have eroded and are exposed for easy viewing. The layers are different colors and have different characteristics. In this county many dinosaur bones have been discovered from the Jurassic Period. Kiosks along the trail show vintage photos of cowboys and an old cabin that still stands.
