This Roadside Attraction cracks me up. In Green Lawn Cemetery is a hilarious sculpture and grave dedicated to Muggs, the family dog of the Thurber Family and famous writer/humorist James Thurber. Muggs, an Airedale terrier, was famous for being in one of Thurber’s short stories. And yes, he bit everyone except Thurber’s mother. “Cave Canem” is Latin for “Beware of Dog”. Also, in the cemetery, which was built in 1848, was several outstanding sculptures/tombstones including the Fisherman, a deer holding binoculars, and Little Georgie.
