After an inspiring Palm Sunday mass at church, we hiked this mostly flat 2.4-mile trail located on the south end of Twin Creek Metroparks. This was our first time here and the trail wound through the forest before ascending a short hill around Lake George, a 4-acre pond with a fishing pier located next to the former Camp Hook Boy Scout Camp. I could see spawning was taking place as hundreds of small fish were visible. We hiked past a small amphitheater and constantly heard woodpeckers in the woods.
