HIKED CLARK PRESIDENTIAL WETLANDS Little Rock, Arkansas

Hiking Team: Dave Miller, Rosie Miller

Date: May 2, 2024

This short one-mile trail on the south banks of the Arkansas River and near the Bill Clinton Presidential Library, was named after a Bill Clark, an avid outdoorsman and a strong civic and political leader in Arkansas. The 1,600-foot boardwalk trail wrapped around a few small ponds and 13 acres of restored wetlands where we observed birds, turtles and ducks thriving in the various plants, grasses and wetlands. Kiosks educated us on ecological efforts and successes.
