This enjoyable section of the Little Miami Bike Trail took us south 8.9 miles through tree covered shade to the Milford Trailhead Building. We crossed a bike bridge over the Little Miami River watching many kayakers paddle by. I saw a snake on the bike path & stopped to see a photo (Photo#4). The snake was not injured and didn’t move. Matt later said that it had a triangle head and was probably poisonous. We turned around and headed north 3 miles to Miamiville, a small village where next to the bike path was the Miamiville Trailyard Restaurant was located. We sat outdoors listening to great music and watching bikers peddle by. We enjoyed salmon sandwiches and fries before biking through town to the local park reserve and then the cemetery. I showed Holly & Rosie the unique tombstone of a man who played poker with Wild Bill Hickock in Deadwood, South Dakota when he was shot. We then biked north on the bike trail back to busy Loveland for a total of 21 miles biked. I then drove to a downtown Lebanon ice cream shop for shakes and cones.
