This paved loop trail led us 1.4 miles around VOA Lake. Along the way were several bird/butterfly spotting stands overlooking the wildflower fields to the south. On the west side of the trail were fishing docks, paddleboat and kayak docks and a large gazebo overlooking the lake. On two occasions, teen boys had caught nice sized bass. Seniors were sailing their motorized miniature sailboats. Rosie was concerned about the Caution Sign stating that red-winged black birds may attack (Photo#3). It was a pleasant hike on a beautiful day.
