An unusual roadside attraction that you don’t see every day. Designated an Historical District on the National Register of Historic Places, the town is the oldest active spiritual community in the southeastern United states. It was founded in 1894 by Northern spiritualists as a location to spend the winter months. Nicknamed the “Psychic Center of the World”, a local told me over 50 psychic mediums and healers live here. We drove by Psychic Shops, a Healing Grotto, a Spiritualist Camp and many more. An elderly woman was sitting outside the C. Green’s Haunted History House and Museum Although I didn’t have time to explore an hour inside, I poked by head in the open door and saw aliens, cryptids and other scary displays. I must definitely return here on the next trip to Florida.
